Face Elixir

1300 years ago, Ayurvedic masters in India experimented with herbs that help regenerate the skin. They developed a recipe that was very effective: medicinal herbs such as saffron flowers, blue lotus, vetiver, red sandalwood and 22 other rare ingredients were boiled in sesame oil and distilled to produce an elixir. Users found it so good that they believed the two Ayurvedic gods, Nasatya and Dasara, had brought the divine elixir to mankind.

The main ingredient of this potent elixir is saffron, which is said to have the ability to change skin tone and complexion. Floral elements such as lotus pollen and neelkamal (blue lotus) give it important herbal ingredients. Cooling and soothing ingredients like Lal Chandan (Red Sandalwood), Khus (Vetiver) and Bael Fruit help your skin fight pollution. The essence of plants like Java Fig, Mahua and Licorice treat superficial problems like discoloration and age spots. The formulation is mentioned in ancient Ayurvedic texts like Ashtanga Hridayam and Bhaisajya Ratnavalli around 700 AD.

This rare formula, passed down through generations, is a natural and effective way to keep your facial skin healthy and radiant. The elixir works best when you use it at night before bed. Put a few drops on your palm and warm the oil by rubbing your palms together. Gently massage it onto your face and neck. You can leave it on overnight or remove your face after 2 hours. The scent takes some getting used to, as it is completely natural and odorless. After 30 days of regular use, you will notice the improvements on your face.

The elixir is produced in a traditional way at our partner in India and bottled in an integrative workshop in Gütersloh. A great team of women led by Karin & Hedwig takes care of the filling and packaging with much love.
